Faeries
The faeries peeking one by one
The stars light their way through the darkest night
The must prepare for their nighttime flight
The darkness has come all too soon
They must fly to thee, by the light of the moon
They fly to your window on the breeze of night
They see you are warm, your eyes are shut tight
The days are short, the night's just as bad
The faeries have lost what they once thought they had
